Anuhea is a quirky, free-spirited, genuine woman with a heart of pure gold. With a contagious laugh and positive perspective on life, she encourages our youth to pursue their dreams and passions and a life anchored to Jesus! A solid role model, Anuhea teaches the Word with authenticity in a way that’s relatable & inspiring!
Anchor Youth- At A Glance
Real life change happens in relationships. Anchor Youth is a weekly gathering of students from 7th-12th grade to build community, have fun, worship, and hear a short teaching followed by time together in Connect Groups.
Anchor Youth meets every Thursday night at Anchor Church from 6:30p-8:00p in the main auditorium.
We welcome anyone in grades 7-12 (typically ages 12-18).

‘AHUIMANU YOUTH LEADERS
1. WEEKEND SERVICES
We are devoted to seeing students planted and thriving in the local church. Weekend services offer an opportunity for all generations to gather together to worship and grow through a practical, relevant message from God’s Word. Fridays 7pm and Sundays 7, 9 & 11am.
2. GROWTH TRACK
Our Growth Track is a simple, step-by-step way for students to realize their potential in Christ. Students will learn what it means to be a part of a church family and gain tools for walking with God daily. They will discover their gifts and passions and see how they can get involved in doing something great for God’s Kingdom. Growth Track meets every Sunday during the 11am service in the Anchor Church office.
3. DREAM TEAM
Students will never be more excited for God than when they are serving in their passion, gifting and purpose every day. The Dream Team is full of opportunities for students to identify and use their strengths to live out their faith by serving in the local church.
4. YOUTH WEDNESDAYS
Real life change happens in relationships. Anchor Youth is a weekly gathering of students from 7th-12th grade to build community. Have fun, worship, and hear a short teaching followed by time together in connect groups. Connect groups can build relationships more through outside hangouts & activities. Anchor Youth meets every Wednesday night at Anchor Church. Youth Wednesdays are held every week and start at 6:30 on the Youth Deck.
5. FIRST SUNDAYS
This is a monthly event designed specifically for students in grades 7-12 to invite their friends to come connect with God and others, while hearing a relevant message to fuel their next step with Christ. This night may include food, games, themes, music, prizes, etc. This is a great time to invite new friends to Anchor Youth, Connect Groups and Weekend Services. First Sundays obviously meets on the first Sunday night of every month at Anchor Church.
6. YOUTH LEADERS MEETINGS
These are regular times for our youth and student leaders to grow through training, accountability, leadership development, planning and unity. These meetings are led and facilitated by our youth pastor.
7. CAMPS
Camps offer students a distraction-free environment to experience God and grow deeper in relationship with others. Camps can be the most spiritually impactful youth events we do all year. They are a great opportunity to invite un-churched friends into a relationship with God and other students. Separate Jr. High and Sr. High camps will be scheduled each summer.
8. MISSION TRIPS
Going on at least one mission trip can dramatically reshape a student’s life and worldview. Mission trips open students’ eyes to the Great Commission and their part in taking God’s love to the world. Our youth take a mission trip to Machida, Japan every October during Fall Break. More trips in the future.
