We are excited to re-gather on our campus again!
Reserve your spot at one of our weekend services
To better accommodate our Anchor family, beginning November 13, we will be making some changes in our online and in-person service times. Our online services will be on Fridays at 7 pm, Saturdays at 5 pm, and Sundays at 8 am and 10 am and 5 pm. Our in-person services will be on Fridays at 7 pm and Sundays at 8 am and 10 am. Please join us at the service most convenient for you!
Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel all in-person services (including Saturday’s Prayer and Worship Service) for this weekend, January 15-17.
We need to let you know that one of our staff was exposed to COVID-19 through a family member and has tested positive. Their interaction with the congregation was very minimal last weekend so we feel confident that everyone is safe. Those they came in close contact with have already been notified and are isolating. The staff member is doing well and is in isolation with their family.
Be assured that our campus has been thoroughly sanitized. As always, we have taken every step recommended by the CDC to keep our campus clean so you can attend service with confidence when we reopen. Until then, please join us online on Friday at 7PM, Saturday at 5PM and Sunday at 8AM, 10AM and 5PM as we delve into Jesus’ instructions on how to pray and celebrate communion at home together.
We’re Taking Steps to Reopen
Please take three minutes to let us know your thoughts by completing a brief survey. Your valuable answers will give us direction as to how we can move forward together as a church. Thank you so much for your time!
Dear Anchor Church Family,
Many of you have seen the news that Mayor Kirk Caldwell is allowing churches to re-open for in-person services as long as they follow physical distancing requirements and CDC guidelines.
What does this mean for Anchor Church? As you already know, we have always considered ourselves and all other churches essential services. And we’ve never closed! We’ve stopped our large gatherings in buildings, but our church has never stopped. In fact, some of our most significant ministry has happened over the last two months.
Since we are a large church and our facilities were already reaching capacity, following all the guidelines poses some challenges for implementation. The staff and I are developing a plan to reopen that gives you the best possible worship experience in a clean and safe environment.
We are happy for the churches that can safely come together, however, we will not be moving forward with gathering for services until we are confident that we can provide an experience that is safe. Please pray that God will provide us with wisdom on the best way to reopen the church.
In the meantime, we will continue to provide services online, meet virtually in Connect Groups, and be available to anyone who needs support and prayer.
We love you, miss you and continue to pray for all of you!
God bless you,
