Dear Anchor Church Family,
Many of you have seen the news that Mayor Kirk Caldwell is allowing churches to re-open for in-person services as long as they follow physical distancing requirements and CDC guidelines.
What does this mean for Anchor Church? As you already know, we have always considered ourselves and all other churches essential services. And we’ve never closed! We’ve stopped our large gatherings in buildings, but our church has never stopped. In fact, some of our most significant ministry has happened over the last two months.
Since we are a large church and our facilities were already reaching capacity, following all the guidelines poses some challenges for implementation. The staff and I are developing a plan to reopen that gives you the best possible worship experience in a clean and safe environment.
We are happy for the churches that can safely come together, however, we will not be moving forward with gathering for services until we are confident that we can provide an experience that is safe. Please pray that God will provide us with wisdom on the best way to reopen the church.
In the meantime, we will continue to provide services online, meet virtually in Connect Groups, and be available to anyone who needs support and prayer.
We love you, miss you and continue to pray for all of you!
God bless you,
